Welcomeby: Ali Raddaoui "The purpose of this post is to simply introduce myself to potential clients. " Hello and welcome. Let this be my way of introducing myself to potential customers. I am not really sure I want to see my relationship with my potential clients as being one of service provider-customer. I think this takes away from the kind of mission that is mine, which is to try to translate both the text and the spirit of the text. I see my intervention more at the level of providing quality translation and workmanship than at the level of a commercial transaction, not that there is anything wrong with transacting, but just to say that each one has his/her own biases. My bias is toward quality, first and foremost.Of course, the element of the transaction is there in that we are going to agree on a turnaround time against a specific amount of money, but this is the mundane part of part of it. So much for PR. My name is Dr. A.H.R. I do quality translations from and into Arabic, French and English. I have worked in this field doing all kinds of translation, including medical, technical and legal, but much of what I do is in the area of humanities and social sciences. My knowledge of computers, the internet, online learning, internet searching, podcasting, presentation and representation gives me the confidence required to translate almost anything. However, it is best to specify areas in which I can do an A1 job, lest I be called a jack of all trades, master in none. This is all for this first post. I welcome your comments and feedback, and look forward to hearing from you. I do things in a timely manner, and my job is never half done. November 26, 2007 - Comments:0 |
